Fancy a Coffee in the Cotswolds?
Chipping Campden to Cirencester from Cheltenham to the Cotswolds
I started my design career as an 18 year old Studio Junior, tasked mainly with making really shit tea for the designers at Coventry Marketing Agency – Parenthesis. I was constantly hungover. One day I was allowed my very own Apple Mac. My tea making abilities were still shocking, but my palate and palettes were improving daily.
A professional coffee machine was installed at the office. With milk-wand, Illy coffee pods and the start of my coffee obsession began.
My client experience grew. I worked for Tesco. Virgin. Vodafone. Nokia. Simple. Barclays. Codemasters. KPMG. Wesleyan. I picked up some gongs and the work took me to different agencies in the UK in Birmingham, Cheltenham, Leamington, London and Oxford (even a short stint in Sydney). Digital blew up. I learnt a shit-ton about the industry, how to navigate the Cowley Road in Oxford in rush hour, the hangovers less frequent, the late nights increased, but most importantly I found the best places in all the Cities I worked in to quaff the best caffeine.
So, if you’re an aspiring coffee snob like me (or if you just prefer the accompanying artisanal pastry) let me take you for that first meeting somewhere we’ll both be high on amazing caffeine and sugar-laden carbohydrates.
